Holy Cross Parish is reliant on regular contributions to sustain a “cash flow” sufficient to pay ordinary expenses (salaries, utilities, taxes, etc.) and maintenance related projects on property in addition to our existing $2.1M mortgage following the rebuild of our existing church post Hurricane Sandy.

We ask parishioners to consider contributions of any size (no donation is too small - every penny counts) to help reduce our shared debt. There are many ways you can help and in many cases, your donation may even be tax deductible (please see your tax advisor regarding charitable contributions).

Tithe

Titheing is an ancient Biblical principle, called tithing, directed that 10% of what one was given should be returned back to the Lord in the form of charitable giving.

How much should I give?
Holy Cross Parish strives to provide a wide range of ministries and services on a daily basis, supported almost exclusively by the offertory contributions of parishioners. It is understood that many demands are placed upon us all and we hope you will consider making Holy Cross Parish the primary recipient of your charitable efforts. Tithing may even be tax deductible (please see your tax advisor regarding charitable contributions).

Pledge

Please note:

• Pledges over five years encourage donors to consider more substantial commitments than are possible with one-time cash gifts.
• Donors who pledge may determine pledge remittance schedules to meet their own charitable or tax needs.
• Pledges are not legally binding.
• All gifts are tax deductible to the extent provided by law.

Monetary Donations

Every penny counts! Should you wish to make a monetary donation to our parish, please contact Father Michael at [email protected] or 732.842.0348 x.218.  Additionally, stocks, bonds, insurance policies, annuities, are all most acceptable as contributions to our parish. All contributions given to the ordinary collections are counted toward the Parish Share assessment for the following year. In many cases, your donation may even be tax deductible (please see your tax advisor regarding charitable contributions).
